Anna October

Anna October is a women's wear brand founded in Ukraine in 2010. In 2014, Anna October was shortlisted for LVMH, and in 2017, the brand has become a part of Mercedes Benz Collective. With a background in pattern cutting, tailoring and fine art, Anna, designer and founder of the brand, reconstructs vintage styles from the past decades and translates them with contemporary aesthetics. October’s creations are about sensuality, grace, and the beauty of the female body: “I’m not concerned about the styling or the merchandising, as I believe that the body should shape the dress,” she said. “I hope my work is a way to bring harmony and beauty into a woman’s life. A new dress has to be striking; that’s why we don’t do hoodies or sweatshirts but special pieces for moments of happiness and excitement.”
